Dell :: Closed Loop Supply Chain :: 2014
Dell is a leader in sustainability efforts in the tech industry, as evidenced by its closed loop supply chain that takes plastic from recycled computers and uses it to build new computers, thus lessening the need for new virgin plastic. To help explain the process, the team created three separate versions of the chain: 1) a simple, more iconic version that could be used to represent the chain at a high level; 2) a more complex infographic that delves into the process and its longer term effects; and 3) an animated version of the complex infographic.
